Fat Goat Farm is a 9 acre diversified farm located in the rolling hills of Salem, Indiana. Prior to the current Indiana location, Fat Goat Farm existed on a 2 acre plot of rented land in Othello, Washington, up until the purchase of the current farm in early 2022. The farm is currently transiting into being certified organic, a 3 year process. By cover cropping and using goat power to create fertile soils, we are working on enhancing the soils so we can grow strong crops. It is also our goal to maintain a healthy ecosystem around the farm, encouraging native plants, insects, and wildlife to coexist throughout.
